Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Caregiver to support individuals undergoing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and contribute to the overall progress and well-being of our clients. Key Responsibilities:

• • Direct Client Support:
    

     

    • • Assist clients with daily living activities to promote independence and safety.
    • • Provide consistent, compassionate care while implementing individualized ABA behavior intervention plans.

• • ABA Plan Implementation:
    

     

    • • Follow detailed behavior plans created by a BCBA, ensuring interventions are executed accurately.
    • • Utilize positive reinforcement techniques and structured activities to encourage desirable behaviors.

• • Monitoring & Reporting:
    

     

    • • Observe and document client behaviors, progress, and any challenges encountered during care sessions.
    • • Communicate regularly with the ABA team and family members to share updates and adjust strategies as necessary.

• • Collaboration & Communication:
    

     

    • • Work closely with multidisciplinary team members, including therapists, educators, and family caregivers, to ensure cohesive care.
    • • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to stay current on ABA best practices.

• • Environmental Management:
    

     

    • • Help maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment conducive to learning and growth.
    • • Assist in setting up therapy sessions and preparing materials as directed by the ABA team.

Qualifications:

• • Education & Experience:
    

     

    • • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in psychology, special education, or a related field is preferred.
    • • Previous experience in caregiving, working with individuals with developmental disabilities, or within an ABA program is highly desirable.

• • Skills & Competencies:
    

     

    • • Basic understanding of ABA principles and behavior management techniques.
    • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
    • • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
    • • Ability to remain calm, patient, and adaptable in challenging situations.
